Two Lone Wolf OMCG members charged over violent confrontation, NSW

Two members of the Lone Wolf outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) have been charged over an alleged violent altercation in Sydney’s south-west last year, NSW Police say.

On Tuesday 8 December 2015, police were called to a home at West Hoxton following reports a group of armed men, assaulted the residents, who received minor injuries.

Investigators from the Gangs Squad’s Strike Force Raptor commenced an investigation into the incident.

Following extensive inquiries, a 21-year-old man was arrested during a vehicle stop at Homebush, about 6.30am on Thursday 12 May 2016.

During a subsequent search of his vehicle and home, police located and seized a knife, mobile phones, MDMA, and Lone Wolf OMCG colours.

The man, who is a high-ranking member of the Lone Wolf OMCG, was taken to Auburn Police Station and charged with use offensive weapon with intent to commit indictable offence, affray, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company, three counts of common assault, and two counts of intimidate intend harm.

He has been refused bail to reappear at Burwood Local Court on Thursday 4 August 2016.

About 4.30pm yesterday, a 21-year-old man was stopped by officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol Command on the Hume Highway, Mittagong.

During a search of his vehicle, police located and seized MDMA and cannabis.

The man, who is a member of the Long Wolf OMCG, was taken to Bowral Police Station and charged with armed with intent to commit serious indictable offence, affray, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company, two counts of common assault, and two counts of possess prohibited drug.

He has been refused bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court today.

Strike Force Raptor was established by State Crime Command’s Gangs Squad in 2009. It is a proactive and high-impact operation targeting outlaw motorcycle gangs and any associated criminal enterprises.
