South Australian Police have raided 10 properties in Adelaide and seized large amounts of cash and drugs in a joint operation with federal police overnight.

It led to the arrest or report of seven men from suburbs in Adelaide's north and north-west, with three men alleged to be senior members of the Descendants bikie gang.

Police seized about $145,000 in cash, as well as 2,000 ecstasy pills, 21 marijuana plants, 168 grams of methamphetamine, steroids, cocaine, the drug Fantasy, three batons and eight firearms with ammunition.

Police also seized cars, motorcycles and a fishing boat, alleging they had been bought with the proceeds of crime.

Detective Superintendent Craig Patterson said the investigation was ongoing.

"Members of outlaw motorcycle gangs may believe they can operate outside the law, [but] they cannot," he said.

"We will continue to target organised criminal syndicates to ensure the safety of the community."
