Man fatally shot in head outside of motorcycle club

Detroit homicide detectives are investigating after a 34-year-old man was fatally shot outside of a motorcycle club on the city’s west side early Thursday morning.

A 911 call about a shooting came in about 4:40 a.m. on the 12000 block of Woodrow Wilson — which is south of Davison and just east of Rosa Parks Boulevard — said Officer Dan Donakowski, a Detroit Police Department spokesman. An argument and gunshots had been heard outside of the club. The victim was found outside, shot in the head and left wrist, and declared dead on the scene.

Records show an Outcast Men’s Club as being located on that block of Woodrow Wilson, though Donakowski said there was no immediate information on whether the club was even open at the time or if the incident was related to the club.

No arrests have been made and no suspect description is available.
