Twelve charges laid against Hells Angels MC Nomads N.B. member

Twelve charges have been laid against a 48-year-old Fredericton man as part of an RCMP-led joint-force investigation.

Robin Moulton is a full-patch member of the Hells Angels MC Nomads N.B. Chapter. He was arrested on August 22, 2017 while driving on Highway 2 near Woodstock. A search of the car led to the seizure of a quantity of what is believed to be cocaine. Subsequent searches at several locations in New Brunswick also resulted in the seizure of a high power rifle with a silencer, a loaded handgun, a quantity of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Police also seized a full-patch Hells Angels jacket, Hells Angels "support club" patches and "Support 81 Maritimes" clothing.

Today, Robin Moulton appeared in Saint John Provincial Court. Two previous charges against him were withdrawn and twelve new charges were laid. The charges are:

-Careless storage of a firearm, a 9mm handgun
-Possession of a prohibited firearm, a 9mm handgun
-Possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, a 9mm handgun, without proper authorization or licence
-Possession of a firearm, a 9mm handgun, while prohibited
-Careless storage of a firearm, a .308 calibre rifle
-Possession of a prohibited device, a silencer, for a dangerous purpose
-Possession of a prohibited device, a silencer, without proper authorization or licence
-Possession of a firearm with a prohibited device while prohibited
-Possession of ammunition while prohibited
-Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
-Trafficking cocaine
-Possession of a press, intending it be used to traffic a controlled substance
