(video)--COWETA COUNTY, Ga. - Coweta County authorities believe they now have the people responsible for a double murder in custody.

Police arrested six members of a motorcycle club in connection with the shooting deaths of two women. Officers say they uncovered disturbing evidence inside the group's clubhouse.

FOX 5's Doug Evans spoke with neighbors who live near the former Newnan club house of the Iron Cross Motorcycle Club.  They are too frightened to go on TV and say it, but they applaud the law enforcement crackdown on the alleged gang and the raid that led to the closing of the club house.

If this house was once a motorcycle club house of a gang dedicated to crime and affiliated with hate groups, it's clear that it is not now.

The abundance of children toys and confirmation from neighbors all points to the fact a family is living here at this rental house now.

This past week a Coweta County grand jury indicted six alleged members of the Iron Cross Motorcycle Club on violations of the Georgia Street Gang and Terrorism Act.

The investigation dates back to 2014 but investigators say it ramped up after the arrest of Lloyd Jefferson Harris in November 2016 for allegedly shooting at a motorist near State Road 154 Coweta County.

Investigators say Harris and other members of the gang allegedly chased and shot at two women in a car they thought responsible for causing a wreck of another gang member.

Investigators say when they raided the gang's club house they found hate symbols such as swastikas painted inside and evidence linking them to a notorious outlaw motorcycle gang.

After the indictments, all six individuals were taken into custody.  Only the female Ashley Morgan is out in bond.  Investigators say Harris is looking at more than 140 years in prison if convicted.

In the East Newnan neighborhood where the club was located residents to fearful to go into on camera say it's a relief to have group gone. Calling their intimidation and rowdy parties a terrible existence for everyone else.
