A police task force targeting the Hells Angels and spearheaded by the Sûreté du Québec launched a series of raids in Montreal and on the city’s North Shore Tuesday.

SQ officials said the raids, which involved 130 officers, were launched at 17 residences and five business and are part of an ongoing investigation into drug trafficking police suspect has links to “influential members of the Hells Angels.”

No immediate information of arrests or seized evidence was available at noon Tuesday, however a raid carried out by the same task force last month yielded firearms, narcotics and electronic equipment.
