Crews respond to fire at motorcycle club hangout

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - Knoxville Fire Department responded to a reported house fire at a known clubhouse for a motorcycle club in the early hours of Friday morning. 

At 2:50 a.m. Friday morning, units from the Knoxville Fire Department responded to 205 Clifton Rd. off Western Avenue for report of a structural fire. When firefighters arrived they found heavy flames at the front porch area of the structure, and active fire in the attic.

Fire crews immediately went to work extinguishing the flames while additional manpower searched the structure for any possible victims, none were found. The two-story stone structure is a known clubhouse for the motorcycle club the “Outlaws”.

No injuries are reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
