Shooter gets resentencing for 2013 slaying outside Philly biker gang club

Man reportedly opened fire outside clubhouse after getting kicked out

The man convicted of fatally shooting a member of a Philadelphia biker gang outside the group's West Philadelphia clubhouse will have his sentence revised, according to a Tuesday court ruling.

The Superior Court of Pennsylvania has ruled that part of Daniel Tucker's sentence will be vacated and his case remanded to Common Pleas Court for resentencing for the incident that played out in the early morning hours of Jan. 6, 2013.

But since Tucker's legal win only affects one of the many charges for which he was convicted, he will likely still spend at least 35 years in prison for the bloody scene that occurred outside the 61st and Market street clubhouse of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Wheels of Soul Motorcycle Club.

Camden sets wheels in motion to shutter motorcycle club

Camco cops say gang's hangout has long been magnet for crime

A better-built mousetrap.

That’s the result hoped for by Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson after what he called a decades-long “cat-and-mouse game” with the Wheels of Soul motorcycle club.

Camden officials Wednesday closed the gang’s clubhouse on Princess Avenue, citing code violations. They also bulldozed a garage they said the club illegally built on neighboring city property.

The push came after a woman allegedly was sexually assaulted at gunpoint inside the clubhouse early on March 27.

Antoywayn Lindsey, a 34-year-old city resident who served time for a 1997 homicide, faces numerous charges in the alleged attack, including three counts of aggravated sexual assault.

Authorities said he was armed with two loaded handguns when he was arrested at the clubhouse last week. And once inside, police spotted more than Lindsey’s guns.

Camden man accused of sexual assault at motorcycle club

CAMDEN — A city man who served time for a 1997 homicide has been arrested for sexually assaulting a woman at gunpoint at a motorcycle club’s headquarters in Camden, police said.

Authorities allege 34-year-old Antoywayn Lindsey attacked the victim around 2 a.m. Thursday at the Wheels of Soul clubhouse on the 800 block of Princess Avenue.

Camden County Police said the woman “was forced into a room and sexually assaulted while being threatened with a gun.” She eventually escaped and was found by police.

Lindsey was allegedly armed with two loaded handguns when he was arrested at the clubhouse later that morning, police said.

On Saturday, two men came to the clubhouse’s hefty metal door, but declined to comment. Authorities said the incident will prompt an investigation into the notorious club, which has a history of violence, violations and arrests.
