Wild bikie brawl at Canberra strip club caught on camera

(VIDEO) --- An unconscious bikie was kicked and punched by other gang members as he lay on the floor of a Canberra strip club during a wild Comanchero-on-Comanchero brawl.

About 100 members of the Comanchero Outlaw Motorcycle Club from across the country had been in the capital last August for the gang’s 2017 memorial run.

Many of the members had congregated at the Capital Men's Club, in Fyshwick, on August 20 when the brawl started about 3am.

Paea Talakai, 27, of Loganlea, pleaded guilty in the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday to affray for his part in the melee.

Another five alleged gang members are expected to appear before the court on similar charges next month.

Finks gang member charged at Goulburn Jail

A senior member of the Finks outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) has been charged over the alleged manufacture of prohibited drugs at a Tarago district property.

As part of inquiries into violent conflicts between OMCGs across NSW, police from the Criminal Groups Squad’s Strike Force Raptor and the Drug and Firearms Squad’s Chemical Operations Unit established Strike Force Creswell to investigate the importation, manufacture, and supply of prohibited drugs.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, March 13 and 14, 2018, Strike Force Creswell officers executed a number of search warrants at Kellyville Ridge and Beaumont Hills and seized various prohibited drugs, illegal firearms, and assorted precursors.

Strike force officers arrested a 35-year-old man during the operation. He was charged with drug and firearms offences and remains before the courts.

In a bizarre coincidence, Reginald “Reg” Roberts was bankrupt at the time he received the massive windfall, which was deposited into his bank account, then transferred almost immediately.

New bikie gang stakes claim in Canberra as shots fired at wrong house

ACT Chief Police Officer Justine Saunders has revealed that a fourth bikie gang has established itself in Canberra, after shots were fired last week at a Ngunnawal family home that used to be the residence of Comanchero member.

"If there's something that keeps me awake at night, it's gangs in Canberra," assistant commissioner Saunders said on ABC Canberra on Wednesday.

"In the sense of their serious organised criminal activity and their violent activity they undertake here."

Assistant Commissioner Saunders said that shots had been fired into a house at Ngunnawal on Tuesday last week. It was formerly a residence of a member of the Comanchero bikie gang.

"We’ve seen an incident where shots have been fired into a residence at Ngunnawal. That residence was the previous home of a Comanchero member, but it’s not anymore. It’s a family home for a completely innocent family,” assistant commissioner Saunders said in a statement.

Rebel Outlaw bikie gang arrests in Mount Isa

(8 pics) --- Taskforce Maxima officers and police from the Mount Isa District have made arrests as part of a major operation targeting criminal activity and habitual consorting under the new serious and organised crime legislation.

The Organised Crime Gangs Group established Operation Quebec Schedule with Mount Isa Police District targeting criminal activities of the Rebels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

On Saturday officers from Taskforce Maxima, State Intelligence, Tactical Crime Squad, general duties, and Criminal Investigation Branch detectives arrested men in Mount Isa, Cloncurry and Rockhampton.

Six people were detained including patched members of the Rebels Mount Isa chapter. A 51-year-old man – a member and former president of the Rebels OMCG – was arrested after a search warrant at a West St, home Sunday.

Major player in Sydney's Satudarah bikie gang charged over drugs, guns

The sergeant-at-arms for the Sydney chapter of one of Europe’s most dangerous bikie gangs has been arrested and charged with drugs and firearms offices.

An alleged key player with the Satudarah bikie gang, Mitchell Mcphail, 26, was arrested by specialist police officers attached to Strike Force Raptor after a search of his St Marys home on Wednesday evening where they seized a rifle, ammunition, knuckledusters, a quantity of ice and clothing with the club's emblem.

Mr Mcphail was taken to Penrith Police Station and charged with possessing a shortened firearm, ammunition and a weapon without a permit, possessing an unregistered firearm, failing to correctly store a firearm and possessing and supplying drugs.

He was refused bail to appear before Penrith Local Court on Thursday.

One of Europe’s most notorious outlaw motorcycle clubs, Satudarah is known for its extreme violence, drugs, extortion and weapons trafficking.

With the combined efforts of 50 police officers from the Tweed Heads and Byron Bay Police district, Queensland Police's Taskforce Maxima, Australian Federal Police, Queensland Probation and Parole and Corrective Services NSW, the four alleged criminals were apprehended.

Outlaw bikies are set to be banned from visiting their associates in jail as part of a crackdown on drug smuggling in prison.

The South Australian government will introduce two key pieces of legislation that will enforce a blanket ban for bikies from visiting a prison, the ABC reported.

The legislation will cut communication between drug dealers inside and outside prisons.
